First Lady

First Lady Mildred L. Parker was born in Houston, Texas to parents Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Ella L. Wyatt. She received Christ as her personal Savior at a very young age at Laurel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Coldspring, Texas. She has served in the church since childhood with her mother and siblings and through these experiences her love for God is FIRM.

She graduated from Minot High School and went on to further her education at the University of Anchorage Alaska, Wayland Baptist University and Walden University. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies and Master of Science with a Specialization Teaching Adults in the Early Childhood Field.

In her professional career, she worked for thread. thread is a nonprofit statewide network of professionals who work individually with families and early educators to ensure they are knowledgeable and supported in guiding children to lifelong success. She was the MTP certified Pre-K Coach and support over six school districts in Alaska with professional development opportunities.

Lady Parker moved to Misawa Japan in December 2001 where she began working in ministry at Greater Love MBC. She served at Greater Love for 4 years as a leader and core team member in various ministries such as; Youth Ministry Director, Children Child Care Assistant Director and church Finance Assistant. It was there she developed in leadership by attending numerous hours of training. This is the place she accepted her call into the Ministry and was licensed by Bishop S.D.Smith of Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church in Misawa Japan in March 2005.

She has been in the Early Childhood Field for the past 17 years. Lady Parker loves working with children (“little people”) and families. She has a passion and love for serving people and it shows. She loves serving alongside her husband and often says “I’m his biggest cheerleader!” She and Pastor Parker have been married since November 9th the year of 1997. They do not have any biological children. But they love spoiling their nieces and nephews.
